1. Day

Breakfast at the hotel. Travel to Rila Monastery, Bulgaria’s largest religious structure, and one of the most visited sites in the country. The tour explores the breath-taking grounds of the UNESCO World Heritage Site with more than 1,000 years of history, including the monastery museum and the exposition of the monastery acreage. Take a short trip then to restaurant Han Dyavolski Vodi for a typical and delicious Bulgarian lunch. The group then returns in the afternoon to Sofia for some free time and why not - some shopping. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at Hadzhidraganovi Izbi with traditional and appetizing Bulgarian cuisine.

2. Day 

Breakfast at the hotel. Start the morning with immersive exploration of the largest museum in Bulgaria and gain understanding and insight of the Bulgarian history. Continue then with the historically significant Boyana Church - an UNESCO world heritage site, dating back to the 10th century, situated in the foot of Vitosha Mountain. Afterwards, there will be a short transfer to Sofia city with а stop for lunch in restaurant Pod Lipite. Then uncover the cultural charms of Sofia on this guided walking tour. The city offers beautiful buildings, Romanesque remains, old churches and extremely interesting archaeological complexes. Free evening time.

3. Day 

Breakfast at the hotel. Head to Plovdiv - the oldest constantly living city in Europe and one of the oldest in the world. Visit the vibrant Old town, explore the small authentic streets, indulge in a millennia of history and have a delicious lunch at restaurant Philippopolis. The tour then continues to one of the oldest monasteries on the Balkans and the second largest in Bulgaria – Bachkovo Monastery, founded more than nine centuries ago. The monastery is an example of the interaction of three cultures and eras - Byzantium, Old Georgian and Bulgarian. After the tour finishes, the itinerary continues to Sofia with free evening time
