Days full of discovery await us – from the majestic brick buildings and bustling waterfront of Gdańsk, to the iconic wooden pier in Sopot and its unique Crooked House, to the modern port of Gdynia and the natural beauty of the Hel Peninsula with its sand dunes and seal rescue station. There will also be plenty of rich Polish and international cuisine to delight your taste buds.

Day Place Arrival Departure

Day 1: Arrival in Gdańsk and gastronomic evening

  • 09:00: Departure of the bus.
  • Journey to Gdańsk with sufficient breaks.
  • 6:30 p.m. Arrival in Gdańsk. Accommodation at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Gdańsk 5*.
    • Radisson Blu Hotel, Gdańsk: A luxurious five-star hotel in the heart of the Old Town, right on the Royal Route. It offers modern rooms with Wi-Fi, bathrooms with underfloor heating, and beautiful views of the city. Guests will appreciate the recreation center with a sauna and steam bath. The hotel is located in a beautiful historic Gothic house, which adds to the authenticity of your stay.
  • 7:30 p.m.: Dinner at TRUE Steaks & Seafood RESTAURANT (ul. Chmielna 10, Gdańsk).
    • TRUE Steaks & Seafood RESTAURANT: A modern restaurant specializing in high-quality steaks and fresh seafood. The ideal place for your first dinner together in Gdańsk, where you can enjoy a culinary experience in a pleasant atmosphere.

 

Day 2: The historic heart of Gdańsk and the spa town of Sopot

 

  • Morning: City tour of Gdańsk.
    • Church of Our Lady (Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary): One of the largest brick churches in the world and a dominant feature of Gdańsk. Inside is the famous Gdańsk Madonna, and you can climb the tower for a breathtaking view of the city.
    • Green Gate (Zielona Brama): An impressive Renaissance gate that once served as the residence of Polish rulers and is now part of the National Museum. It is a beautiful entrance to the Long Market.
    • Old Town Embankment (Długie Pobrzeże): A picturesque promenade along the Motława River with historic houses, cafes, and restaurants. From here, you can see the city's iconic symbols.
    • Gdańsk Shipyard: A symbol of Polish Solidarity and the birthplace of modern history.
    • Granary: Historic granaries along the river, now used for various purposes, including hotels and restaurants.
    • Crane (Żuraw): A medieval port crane and one of Gdańsk's most famous landmarks. It is the largest preserved medieval port crane in Europe and was once used for loading goods and building ships.
  • Individual visit to museums on the waterfront:
    • Soldek Ship Museum: Soldek was the first ship built in Polish shipyards after World War II. Today it is a museum where you can explore the ship's interior and learn about the life of sailors and the history of shipbuilding in Poland.
    • Maritime Museum: A complex of several exhibitions, including the aforementioned Soldek, showcasing the rich maritime history of Gdańsk and Poland.
  • Afternoon: Bus transfer to Sopot.
  • Lunch: Restauracja NOVA SOPOT (ul. Władysława Jagiełły 6/1, Sopot).
    • Restauracja NOVA SOPOT: An elegant restaurant offering a combination of modern Polish and European cuisine. The ideal place for a quiet lunch in the heart of Sopot.
  • Tour of the spa town of Sopot:
    • Crooked House (Krzywy Domek): One of the most photographed attractions in Sopot. This bizarre, surreal building looks as if it has melted and houses shops, restaurants, and offices.
    • Wooden Pier (Molo w Sopocie): The longest wooden pier in Europe, reaching a length of over 500 meters. It offers beautiful views of the Baltic Sea and the coast. It is an ideal place for a relaxing stroll.
    • Coastal promenade: A lively promenade along the beach with cafes, shops, and green spaces.
  • Evening: Return to your accommodation in Gdańsk.
  • Dinner: GENEZA Jedzenia i Wina (ul. Chmielna 10, Gdańsk).
    • GENEZA Jedzenia i Wina: Another great restaurant in Gdańsk, focusing on Polish and European cuisine with a modern twist. It offers excellent food and a wide selection of wines.

 

Day 3: The natural beauty of the Hel Peninsula and maritime Gdynia

  • Morning: After breakfast, transfer to the HEL PENINSULA.
    • Hel Peninsula: A narrow sandy peninsula jutting out into the Baltic Sea, known for its beautiful sand dunes, wide beaches, and unique atmosphere.
    • The picturesque town of Hel:
      • Lighthouse: An icon of Hel, offering a panoramic view of the peninsula and the sea from its top.
      • Neptune Statue: In Hel, you will also find a statue of the god of the sea, which refers to the town's rich fishing tradition.
      • Fishing Museum: A museum that presents the history and traditions of fishing in the region.
      • Fokarium seal sanctuary: A very popular attraction where you can watch seals being trained and fed and learn about their rescue and protection.
      • Military structures: Hel has a rich military history, and remnants of World War II fortifications and bunkers are scattered throughout the peninsula.
    • Beach swimming: Weather permitting, autumn swimming in the Baltic Sea is a refreshing experience.
    • The elegant resort of Jurata: A modern resort on the Hel Peninsula, popular for its beautiful beaches and peaceful atmosphere.
      • Statue of the pagan sea goddess Jurata: A mythological figure who gave the town its name.
      • Pier and beautiful beaches: Ideal for walks and relaxation.
  • Lunch: Fala Fish Friery – Fisherman's Bastion (ul. Lipowa 7, Hel).
    • Fala Fish Friery: An authentic fisherman's stronghold in Hel, where you can enjoy fresh seafood and fish prepared in the traditional way.
  • Afternoon: Visit to the city of Gdynia.
    • Gdynia: Poland's largest seaport, a modern city that stands out from historic Gdańsk and spa town Sopot.
    • Walk along the South Pier (Molo Południowe): Take a walk along the pier, where you can see a number of ships and the sea panorama.
    • Destroyer Błyskawica: A historic World War II destroyer, now a museum. You can explore its deck and learn about its combat history.
    • Dar Pomorza training ship: A legendary sailing ship that served as a training ship. Today, it is also a museum and shows life on board and the history of sailing ships.
    • Boat trip around the port of Gdynia: The price for the trip is PLN 40 per person. The pier is located on the South Pier behind the Dar Pomorza sailing ship, where you will also find ticket offices. During the cruise, you will see the extensive port, cargo ships, and infrastructure from a different perspective.
    • Option to visit the Sea Aquarium with sharks and octopuses: For lovers of the underwater world.
    • Opportunity to purchase amber: Gdynia, like the entire region, is famous for its amber.
  • Evening: Departure for the hotel in Gdańsk.
  • Dinner and overnight stay: Verres en Vers (Radisson Blu Hotel, Gdańsk).
    • Verres en Vers: An elegant restaurant located in the Radisson Blu hotel, specializing in French cuisine and offering a wide selection of wines. Ideal for a final dinner together, ending a rich program.

 

Day 4: Departure 

  • Morning: After breakfast, check out of the hotel.
  • Departure by bus back.
